Moving back to a traveler’s notebook bullet journal
I usually work away from home, and I always bring my blogging tools with me. I should have at least my iPad and charger, phone, planner and pens, and my bottle of water to make sure my brain cells are always hydrated!
But it’s only March and my ring binder planner is getting heavier. That’s why starting in April, I’ll be moving back to a traveler’s notebook system (bullet journal booklets) and keep my bag as light as possible.
I was reminded of the traveler’s notebook bullet journal system when I saw this video a few weeks ago. And I remembered I did this last year with my coffee-themed November journal and my December Christmas planner.
This means I’ll have to migrate not just tasks but blog ideas as well. I have still yet to decide what to do with my collections pages, but for now, here’s my April bullet journal layout.
My April bullet journal layout
For April, I used a dot paper grid and drew lines to connect the dots and make my bullet journal spreads. It took me a while, but it was really a lot of fun, especially when it was time to add the flowers!
I used the same weekly planner layout as my March bullet journal which worked great.
I also enjoyed making the watercolor labels which I learned to do only recently. Click and check some of my work with pink floral letters HERE and monthly planner stickers HERE!
The trackers here can be used for budgets and expenses, or you can add more lines to change these into a habit tracker or sleep log. You can also click HERE to see my other bullet journal and binder trackers you can use.
